Can I Pause The Plan If I Have A Holiday Or Event?Updated 2 months ago

It is important to enjoy the special events in life as much as possible.

If you are following the Total Plan, we would recommend adding in some conventional foods slowly for a few days prior, as the change in diet can upset your tummy. 

If you intend on consuming alcohol, it is very important to increase your calories to 1000 7 days prior to the event. This is due to the low calorie intake and your body not being able to break down the alcohol in the same way so it can result in you becoming very unwell.

Coming off plan for an event can be very worrying for some but as long as you make sensible choices when you can and get back on plan after, any increase in weight will be minimal, and after a few days back on plan you should see this start to drop again.
