Sushi Dessert Rolls 🍫🍓🍙

What You’ll Need…

✔ 1 pack Rice Pudding
✔ 1 pack Maple Syrup Pancake Mix
✔ 1 pack Chocolate Brownie Mix
Jelly Moulds
✔ Water Flavourings (your choice)
1 sachet Dr Oetker Gelatine


Method:

1️⃣ Prepare the Jelly Shapes

  • Add 50ml of boiling water to your chosen Water Flavouring.
  • Mix with half a sachet of gelatine and pour into jelly moulds.
  • Place in the fridge to set.

2️⃣ Cook the Rice

  • Sieve the rice from the Rice Pudding pack and boil it until fluffy.

3️⃣ Make the Chocolate Crepe

  • Add 100ml of water to the Chocolate Brownie Mix and stir to create a thick batter.
  • Pour the batter onto a crepe maker or frying pan to make a large crepe.
  • Save 1 tablespoon of the mix to use at the end.

4️⃣ Assemble the Sushi Roll

  • Once the crepe is ready, place it on a plate.
  • Spoon the fluffy rice into the middle of the crepe.
  • Add jelly shapes to add flavour and colour.
  • Tightly roll the crepe, wrap it in cling film, and place in the fridge to cool.

5️⃣ Make the Pancake Hearts

  • Mix the Pancake Mix with 50ml of cold water and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
  • Cook on a crepe maker or frying pan.
  • Cut the pancakes into heart shapes and place on a plate with the jelly shapes.

6️⃣ Slice & Serve

  • Remove the chocolate roll from the fridge and slice into sushi-style pieces.
  • Top with the remaining Brownie Mix for extra richness.
  • Use the saved Brownie Mix as a dipping sauce.
  • Mix some pudding with a drop of boiling water to make a creamy dip.
  • Sprinkle with Berry Blast Water Flavouring for a fruity finish.
