☕ Can I Add Milk to My Tea or Coffee?

Yes, you absolutely can enjoy a splash of milk in your tea or coffee while following The New You Plan. With the right choices and portion control, you can still enjoy your favourite hot drinks without compromising your results.


🥛 Milk Options and Daily Allowances

You can include one of the following milk options per day:

  • 250ml skimmed milk
  • 250ml unsweetened soya milk
  • 165ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 165ml sweetened soya milk
  • 85ml full-fat milk

These allowances are designed to give you enough flexibility to enjoy your drinks while staying within the guidelines of the plan.


☕ Tailor to Your Taste

Choose the milk or milk alternative that best suits your preferences. Whether you enjoy a stronger brew with a dash of full-fat milk or prefer a lighter cup with skimmed or soya milk, these options allow you to enjoy a bit of comfort in your daily routine.

💡 Top Tip: If you enjoy multiple hot drinks a day, measure your milk allowance in the morning so you can spread it out across your cups.


❗ Please Note

  • Milk does not count towards your daily water intake.
  • You should still aim to drink 2.5 to 4 litres of water each day to stay properly hydrated.
  • Stick to the recommended amounts to stay on track with your nutritional goals.
