🤱 Can I Be on the Plan While Breastfeeding?
Regrettably, The New You Plan is not suitable for individuals who are currently breastfeeding.
We prioritise the health and safety of both mother and baby, and during breastfeeding, your body requires additional calories and nutrients to support your well-being and your baby’s development. For this reason, we do not recommend following a Very Low-Calorie Diet (VLCD) or any restrictive plan during this important phase.
❌ Other Situations Where the Plan Is Not Recommended:
🤰 Pregnancy
Our plan is not suitable during pregnancy due to the body’s unique and increased nutritional needs.
Additionally, our products contain Vitamin A in the form of retinol/retinyl, which may pose a risk of birth defects or miscarriage.
We recommend focusing on pregnancy-specific supplements and natural sources of beta-carotene (e.g. carrots, leafy greens).
🍼 Postpartum (Within the Last 3 Months)
During the early postpartum period, your body is healing and adjusting. This time requires specialised nutritional care to support recovery, energy levels, and hormonal balance. We recommend waiting at least 3 months post-birth before considering our plan — and only with medical clearance.
💔 Recently Experienced a Miscarriage
This is an incredibly sensitive time, and we encourage prioritising your emotional and physical recovery. Nutritional needs may vary, and guidance from a healthcare professional is highly recommended before making dietary changes.
