Can I Be On The Plan While Breastfeeding?Updated 3 months ago
Regrettably, our program is not suitable for individuals who fall into certain categories, including breastfeeding. Here’s why:
Breastfeeding: Our program is not suitable for those who are currently breastfeeding, as mothers require additional calories and nutrients to support both their own well-being and the nutritional needs of their infants. It is essential to prioritise the health and development of the baby by following appropriate dietary recommendations during this important phase.
Other Situations Where the Plan is Not Recommended:
- Pregnant: Our program is not recommended during pregnancy due to specific nutritional needs. Our products contain Vitamin A in the form of retinol/retinyl, which can pose risks such as birth defects or miscarriage. It's important to focus on pregnancy-specific supplements and natural sources of Vitamin A, like beta-carotene found in carrots.
- Postpartum (within the last 3 months): Focus on postpartum recovery and nourishment, which involves specialised nutritional requirements to support healing and your body's needs.
- Recently Experienced a Miscarriage: It's crucial to prioritise emotional well-being and physical recovery, often requiring guidance from healthcare professionals.
We prioritise the safety and health of our customers, and therefore advise consulting with a healthcare professional or nutritionist for personalised guidance tailored to your specific circumstances and requirements during these stages.
