Dim Sum-Style Omelette Wraps 🥟🍳

A delicious and creative twist on traditional dim sum, made with savoury omelette wraps and a flavourful spiced burger filling — perfect for a high-protein, plan-friendly meal!

What You’ll Need…

  • 1 pack Burger Mix
  • 1 pack Omelette Mix
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Ginger powder
  • Cinnamon (just a pinch)
  • Fresh chilli (for the sauce)
  • Fresh parsley (for the sauce)
  • Bouillon (for the dipping sauce)
  • 1-Cal spray oil
  • Air fryer
  • Non-stick frying pan

Method:

1. Prepare the Burger Filling

  • Make the burger mix according to pack instructions.
  • Add a sprinkle of garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, and a pinch of cinnamon for warmth and depth of flavour.
  • Mix well and set aside to rest while you prepare the omelette wraps.

2. Cook the Omelettes

  • Prepare the omelette mix as per pack instructions.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over low heat.
  • Cook two small omelettes (roughly 8 inches in size) — do not flip them. Let them gently cook until firm but still soft.
  • Once cooked, cut each omelette into quarters.

3. Fill and Wrap

  • Place a small dollop of burger filling onto the centre of each omelette quarter.
  • Carefully fold or wrap each piece into a parcel shape, enclosing the filling.

4. Air Fry for Crispiness

  • Spray each wrap lightly with 1-Cal spray oil.
  • Place the parcels into the air fryer and cook on high heat for 5 minutes, or until golden and slightly crispy.

5. Make the Dipping Sauce

  • Dissolve a little bouillon in hot water to create a savoury base.
  • Stir in fresh chopped chilli and parsley to finish.

Serve & Enjoy
