Egg Fried Rice, Daal Sauce & Burger Bites 🍳🍛🍔
This delicious combo of egg fried rice, thick daal sauce, and crispy burger bites is packed with flavour and perfect for mixing up your New You meals! 😍
What You’ll Need…
✔ 1 pack Indian Daal curry & rice meal
✔ 1 pack Omelette Mix
✔ 1 pack Burger Mix
✔ Water
✔ Sieve
✔ Non-stick frying pan
✔ Microwave-safe bowl
✔ Air fryer
Method:
🍚 Egg Fried Rice
- Sieve the daal powder from the Daal Pot to separate the rice and lentils.
- Soak the rice and lentils in water for about 10 minutes.
- Cook on the hob for a few minutes until soft, then drain well.
- Prepare the Omelette Mix as per instructions.
- Add the cooked rice/lentils into the omelette mixture and fry in a non-stick pan like a scramble or pancake until golden and set.
🍛 Daal Sauce
- Take the reserved daal powder and mix with water to your preferred consistency.
- Microwave until hot and thick — this becomes your rich daal sauce.
🍔 Burger Bites
- Prepare the Burger Mix as per instructions and shape into small bite-sized pieces.
- Cook in the air fryer at 200°C for 8 minutes until crisp and golden.
To Serve:
- Plate up your egg fried rice, spoon over the daal sauce, and add your crispy burger bites on the side.
- Enjoy a flavour-packed, protein-rich dinner that feels like a real treat! 😋🔥
