Pie, Chips & Peas 🍽️🥧🍟
What You’ll Need…
✔ 1 pack Cottage Pie
✔ 1 pack Cream of Leek Soup
✔ 1 pack Maple Syrup Pancakes
✔ 180ml boiling water
✔ 100ml cold water
✔ Plate
✔ Small glass dish
✔ Frying pan or crepe maker
Method:
1️⃣ Prepare the Cottage Pie
- Mix the Cottage Pie with 150ml of boiling water and place it in a small glass dish.
- Microwave for 2 minutes until heated through.
2️⃣ Prepare the Pancake Batter
- Add 100ml of cold water to the Pancake Mix and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
3️⃣ Make the Pie Crust & Chips
- Using some of the Pancake Mix, make a thick pancake on the crepe maker or frying pan, shaping it to match the size of your glass dish (to act as a pie crust).
- Drizzle the remaining Pancake Mix in thin chip shapes onto the crepe maker to make chips.
4️⃣ Prepare the Pea Sauce
- Add 30ml of boiling water to the Cream of Leek Soup and stir until it forms a thick paste (this will act as a pea-style sauce).
5️⃣ Assemble & Serve
- Place the pancake crust on top of the Cottage Pie.
- Serve with the pancake chips and thick leek sauce on the side.
