⏳ What Happens After I Complete the 12-Week Programme on the Total Plan?

Your Next Steps Toward Continued Success

Completing 12 weeks on the Total Food Replacement (TFR) Plan is a fantastic achievement — well done! To continue progressing toward your goal safely and sustainably, it is important to follow the recommended guidelines for Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) cycles.

✅ Step 1: Take a 2-Week Refeed Break

After 12 continuous weeks on the Total Plan, you must take a minimum break of 2 weeks before starting a new cycle.

During this break:

  • Increase your calorie intake to around 1000 calories per day.
  • You can do this by:
    • Adding conventional foods using the New You Switch Plan
    • Including an extra product and a healthy snack each day
    • Combining New You products with balanced meals

This period allows your body to rest, refuel, and adjust while still maintaining a calorie deficit.

📈 What to Expect During the Refeed

It is normal to experience a small weight gain of 5–7 lbs during this time. This is due to:

  • Replenishing glycogen stores (which bind with water)
  • Increased food volume
  • Digestive system adjustments

This is not fat gain but a natural part of the transition. Remaining consistent and mindful during this phase will support your long-term progress.

🔁 Step 2: Restart Your Next Cycle

After your 2-week refeed, you can simply restart your next 12-week cycle of the Total Plan to continue working toward your goal.

This structured approach:

  • Supports safe and effective weight loss
  • Helps prevent plateaus
  • Encourages long-term sustainability
